As my family will tell you from the very young age of just 4 years old , I took it upon myself to be the one that entertained them as they desperately tried to watch the television in peace . Back then I saw myself as the singer / nursery rhyme teller , anything for an audience or attention . Not long after, I found myself in dance school during week nights and auditioning for school shows taking roles in minor and main parts. Everything was artistic in my life which helped me to win 9 drawing competitions and one short story publication. Leaving all other achievements in sport related activities such as ,running , netball, & dancing . Moving on from primary and high school graduating with 6 standard grades. I chose to enter the world of employment at the age of just 16 years old . Desperate to pay my own way and travel the world and to one day have my own dance school . While in full time employment I continued to take dance lessons at night , but wanted to make it more of a career, So I auditioned for a private dance college and was excepted . It was through the college that I heard of The Scottish Claymore Cheerleaders Auditions .Making it through stage one I got a call back for the opportunity to make the team , much to my delight I made it and soon after I was a fully fledged rookie . It was at this point I was at a cross roads in my life where I had to make the choice to become a dance teacher or move on and start a new fad (cheerleading !), and as the squad history will tell you E.C. was born. The first class was February the 3rd 1999 and since then I have also graduated from colleague with 5 diplomas in holistic therapy (alternative medicine ). I consider myself to be a hard working and dedicated coach to my team . I have seen my squad go through its ups and downs but still shine with pride and spirit at the end of the day ! .Having been at dance school & college and participated in many projects that involve music and performing , I feel it has educated me in a way that I can now pass on to my team. I have many achievements and qualifications under my belt but no gift is greater in any job than life experience .No medal, trophy or certificate gives you the knowledge or answers just a mere step in the right direction . I am fortunate for all the opportunities I have received and earned and I am entirely grateful to my team for having let me live my dream . WCA.SCA.BCA.NFHS.CRB.BATD.USASF.
